Swell Swedish Sweethearts

So Sweden. My Mecca. Land of meatballs, that muppet chef, and fish. Oh yeah, and
CRAZY
AWESOME
POP MUSIC!!!!

I'll make this entry brief and to the point.
I love Sweden.
If I continue with this music blog, you can expect lots and lots of delicious Swedish music. Oh yes darlings. Lots.

Now three of my favorite Swedish bands are Strip Squad, Let's Be Honeys, and the Lovekevins...

Strip Squad is this band that has a ton of fun, perverted lyrics. They are so much fun and I like to listen to them when I'm in a cheerful mood. Pretty much everyone I've introduced them to has ended up (sometimes begrudgingly) liking them. I'm not quite sure if the music itself is arousing but the subject matter of their songs is geared towards sex, masturbation, and kinkiness. What's not to love, right?

Let's Be Honeys is a very sweet twee group...basically they're just this fun cheerful indie group that never fails to make me smile. My favorite song of theirs, Pop Love, is one that always makes me smile and bob my head in shameless twee joy.

The Lovekevins are probably the most well-known when compared to the aforementioned bands. They are another band that I'm almost certain will make you smile. They just released a CD, "Vs the Snow" and it is quite lovely. If you are unfamiliar with any of these bands and a fan of simple indie pop I wholeheartedly encourage you guys to check them out. Cos healthy, happy music is supercool and stuff.
